| 714198 | 2008-10-24 01:23:00 | Hi, Just been reading pressf1.pcworld.co.nz I would like to try geting TV on my New PC I Tried searching forum for how to "Split Sat TV Signal" but no luck ( at least for me) I live in the "BackBlocks" so Normal TV areil do'nt work. We do have Sky Sat TV. So will need to 1) Split Feed from Dish ( Dick Smith have anything simple?) How to do it ? 2) TV Card - I have an old PCI from DSE Purchased in 1999 so think I will need another 3) Viewing software as talked about in above link. PC is 2.66 Quad Core 4 Gig Mem Readon 4870 Card 2 X 320 dicks in Raid0 Thanks.... May be a good Long weekend project ! |

Hauppage make great tuners, make sure to get the right type (not one for DVB-T) I'm not so sure on the logistics of splitting the sat signal, should be the same as splitting coax?
