| 492103 | 2006-10-19 04:33:00 | Hmmm and in Hawaii they don't have car theft either then? Er, loads of them are left trashed somewhere... or repainted and re-registered. Good point Gib,keep these chaps on their toes. |

| 492104 | 2006-10-19 07:01:00 | Surfer Joe, heaps of cars get stolen here, generally to be chopped up for parts- a few are reregistered, but generally, its parts, especially aftermarket parts. Subarus get stolen as 1) they are easier than most to steal and 2) because of their performance and image, they are more likely to be modified with expensive aftermarket parts that scumbags want without paying for, or they are thrashed and then burnt out (that way they get the drive without paying for the very expensive repairs afterwards) Toyotas for the win if buying a car. Nuff said. |

| 492105 | 2006-10-19 10:18:00 | Surely the solution has already jumped up and tried to bite you. Get a Lexus, have 2 gearboxes, (one auto, one manual) fitted, get a manual Ferrari, and a tiptronic Lamborghini. Then you just take whichever suits your mood for the day. Just reply to the letter right at the top of the thread and your worries are over |
