2006-10-17 07:40:00 | Stop blaming the responsible people.... ...I have eight peanut tins to cram full of fireworks each containing about 500 sparklers. I might try the 14 inch ones this time. Larf!

2006-10-17 07:45:00 | Remind me to post pictures of the tin can when its nearly Nov 5. I'll have to go to the local grass park but it should be fricken sweet. That and a couple buckets of ice cold water, since it took ages for last years creation to cool down. | bob_doe_nz (92) | |
2006-10-17 08:16:00 | Cheap Asian fireworks = More bang for your buck... Especially if you wrap it all together... I am sick of PC (Political Correctness). I wanna say f*** if I make a mistake, I wanna go climb the huge tree out in the school yard and I want to buy fireworks and blow up bottles and other stuff

2006-10-17 09:28:00 | We should change our fireworks day to New Years Eve. This is much more important day then some obscure political protest in a country that is getting less and less relevant to NZ every year.I do believe that on Nov the 18th, it will be 24 years since Neil Roberts went into the foyer of the Wanganui computer center, and exploded several hundred metres in various directions as a planned political protest. SO who's this "Guy" character again?

2006-10-17 19:32:00 | Now if Bruce had stood there as a 6 year old, holding firework at arms length singing who wants to live forever, that would have been impressive. | Cicero (40) | |
2006-10-17 21:11:00 | Now if Bruce had stood there as a 6 year old, holding firework at arms length singing who wants to live forever, that would have been impressive. I was singing. I was singing like a bird.

2006-10-18 06:50:00 | Do you guys/girls realise how stupid you are, 1. holding fireworks in ones hand 2. Making gunpowder(with the amount of expereince you guys appear to have thats highly unlikely) 3. Fireworks are NOT "controlled" explosives they ARE explosives the way you treat them, a consumer firework is 1.4G or 1.4S on the DOT hazardous material class. you guys are treating them like they are a 1.6 but makeing them more like a 1.1(TNT) . Fireworks are not toys! they are to be used in the manner described on the firework/box etc. You guys can get arrested for the mishandling of an explosive article.Just today there was a court hearing in the USA, Tripoli Rocketry Association and National Asociation of Rocketry vs Alcohol Tobaco and Firearms, to permit the sale of rocet motors with over 64.5grams of propellent to those without a LEUP (low explosives users permit).(I dont need to go into it specifically). But the information you are describeing on this forum is only incourageing arsenists and juveniles to repeat the same and burn themselves or others and property, and maybe even kill themselves while at it. Please, stop the irresponsible talk, how would you feel when you hear someone got killed from being stupid with fireworks with information they found on the internet. Thank you

2006-10-18 07:01:00 | There's simply nothing more sarisfying than to take a small piece of innocuous material and make huge bangs out of it. No-one here who speaks fondly of the joys of fireworks has died from them, and I doubt they've caused anyone else irreperable harm. You should lighten up Chris. | Greg (193) | |
