714579 2008-10-25 12:12:00 Haven't tried that yet

Have already upgraded firmware in attempt to fix this.. didn't help at all

Am thinking its hardware... will try total reset
Then... I dunno. Anyone giving away a new WAG200G?

Just because the firmware is latest doesn't mean it's not useless :badpc: (thinks: certain motherboard BIOS...)

Bad capacitors...?

714580 2008-10-25 17:13:00 Check you MTU setting in the modem config.
Setting this to 1492 sometimes helps with DNS problems.

714581 2008-10-25 19:43:00 Have just found there is a firmware upgrade (beta).. figure what the heck; really have nothing to lose at this stage so have installed it
Pre-install; also downloaded original firmware upgrade (just in case)

I guess time will tell if it worked (at the current drop rate, I shouldn't have to wait too long)

714583 2008-11-23 05:54:00 Have decided to ditch the Belkin and bought a Linksys. PressF1 appears to be loading fully again :D (see this link (forums.pcworld.co.nz)) Myth (110)
