Ive been asked how to go about setting up secure online payments as well as txt a donation from a cellphone or 0900 number.

Has anyone had experience with setting up something like this.

I dont know how much traffic theyll get, its a tentative inquiry at present.

Thanks

John in Dunedin.

For online payments, you'd be best to get a 3rd party payment processor to do all that for you - someone like DPS, Paymate, Paystation, or Paypal. That way you don't need to worry (as much) about SSL certificates and what-not.

For mobile payments, the commission is usually quite high, so it'd pay to check whether that's worthwhile at all. Likewise with an 0900 number - unless you have high volumes it usually isn't really worth it.

They are relatively simple to setup. maccrazy (6741)
