| 714184 | 2008-10-23 23:08:00 | Me again Planning on using ASUS p5qpro board with 2x4850 Like the playtech beast with the rather high 3Dmark test I believe this board supports 2x16xPCI2.0 slots but im pretty sure the p45 chipset only runs at 8x link crossfire. (different coloured Buses) X38/X48 chipset supports full speed crossfire link, 16x I would think.(same coloured Buses) What perfromance would I expect comparing each other? Does a lower speed greatly depreciate performance? Cant seem to find benchmarking results comparing the 2. Was hoping to build over the weekend. Now i am just confused? |
