| 715128 | 2008-10-27 07:23:00 | Just noticed that the Recycle Bin icon is not on my desktop. How do I get it to show on the desktop? | bk T (215) | ||
| 715129 | 2008-10-27 07:28:00 | Right click on the Desktop / Personalize. Top left look for the wording "Change desktop icons" - click that, a list of various options will appear giving various Icons to be shown on desktop, put ticks in the ones you want - click OK Note: If they dont show right away, right click the desktop again, this time click refresh, and they will appear. Edited: if you want IE7 theres a reg hack. Which is - shown here (www.howtogeek.com) - By default its not showing. Edited 2: some times the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER doesn't work , so use HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ Rest of path the same as above instructions. |
