494623 2006-10-26 18:55:00 I'm with TSB Too.Brothers!!

So maybe you can show me which accounts (s) you have to get 0 fees cause I sure can't see it on their website.
Also what if you want to bank a cheque? With ASB I can feed it into the ATM - what about with TSB? They don't have their own ATMs do they?

494625 2006-10-26 18:57:00 I moved to Kiwi Bank.
I find them a bit Mickey Mouse. But 7.2% on call is hard to beat.

Same here, their website isn't too bad for internet banking ..... when you get used to it's idiosyncrasies that is :)

494626 2006-10-26 20:21:00 My PSIS changed the rules and increased the minimum balance to have zero fees.

ASB now, on the other hand have a Streamline account, where if you don't do manual transactions (over the counter) or have a chq book, charge zero fees.
So I swapped back again.

Bad move by PSIS I think - who prided themselves on not being like all the banks.

Especially when the banks are all starting to offer flat rate fees or no fees.

Lets see now, I've changed power companies, phone companies, ISPs and now the bank again.
Next?

And Gull were going to be the independent fuel company who kept the big guys honest and provide real competition. When did you last see a Gull station with a different price to the other petrol stations around.

They all use the "point of difference" technique to get a toehold in the market, then, once they've achieved the market share they desire, they start peddling the same s**t that all the others do.

494629 2006-10-26 21:10:00 Isn't there a bank with a conical mountain involvement that has had quite a stable ownership history? And the others are how long under the current bunch of fearless leaders? ;) ;) R2x1 (4628)

494631 2006-10-26 23:54:00 Apparently any account your on there's no fees

However the problem is that they don't really support one off payment on internet banking.Everytime you want to pay the other person you have to setup a bill payment.

It costs me 25 cents per internet connection.Withdrawl,Depositing fees is free.Even if you say use a national bank to withrawl from your tsb there is no fees.

The customer service is really nice in new plymouth.Ring the main branch. The one in westown in new plymouth has bad customer service
