Speculation is that the new offering will allow you to nominate a contact and receive flat rate calling and text messaging to that contact, but there doesn't appear to be any reliable information to verify this. | alasta (6652) | ||

I asked a vodafone sales person and they dont know what the plan is yet but they'll be informed later this week. It will be public in early november |

| 493140 | 2006-10-22 05:43:00 | I'm on the you choose 60,Add on 100,Text 600 plan Since my student allowance ends next month I was hoping to down grade my plan to a choose 20 but no...if i downgrade it i'll get charge $180 Ah.Didn't see that part when i was signing up for that plan. They'll release new plans soon as they won't be able to compete with telecom's 500 text. |

| 493142 | 2006-10-22 09:49:00 | Vodafone always seems to be playing catchup to telecom - their new plan will probably be exactly the same as the one telecom have been pushing lately. | Greven (91) | ||
| 493143 | 2006-10-22 18:33:00 | I am sure their plans will be designed to get some money from you that will either make you text or call someone whether you really want to or not - but I could be wrong. It seems to be the trend these days. What they really need is to drop call prices to everyone and anyone when you want to call. Now that would be a novel idea. |

| 493144 | 2006-10-24 03:26:00 | At the moment vodafone aren't winning brownie points for communication or goodwill. I been on contract with them for about 10 years now, and would dearly like to know what is on offer for me. All searching the website offers is "you choose" (a higher bill) that doesn't seem to be a better deal for us night and weekend users on get300 and the likes. 1 cent texting sounds good, but doesn't seem to be attaching itself to my contract in a hurry.... I didn't see myself ever saying this, but at the moment Telecom are looking tempting, and if i didn't mind the change of number, i'd have probably have started checking out a TC prepay deal by now. With vodafone having the biggest customer base, and the cellphone world being a mass market thing now, one would expect better than this... |
