494643 2006-10-27 10:08:00 I've been interested in using either TSB or Kiwibank, but their websites are a mess to navigate. All I did was want to find out about the different savings accounts. Kiwibank's was hard to find, TSB are non existent.

Both sites feature loans and credit cards at the front, something I don't need... yet. Well I can always get a prepaid CC for when I need it.

And I have about $8700 sitting in a high interest account so thats paying off my internet bill for the month.

494644 2006-10-27 17:56:00 Ah, ok, I guess that one change between north & south island, in that case.

Hmm in that case I don’t think pctek has any more public services to change.
I thought only Aucklanders pay for water. We dont here in Hamilton. My mortgage with ANZ means I pay $10 per month for unlimited transactions - but I am starting to think it is time to start shopping around. I think many banks are complacent until you threaten to move away.

494645 2006-10-27 21:29:00 I am with TSB and always maintain more the 5G in the account. The only fees I pay are a cheque book fee. Even the visa is free.
You can use any Westpac ATM for free.
They provide freepost envelopes to post cheques to them.
A person answers the helpline within seconds and is able to help you personally without passing you on to someone else, just as the ads state.
They are in the process of setting up their web transactions, the only failing of the bank I have found.
HTH.
