Steve Vai was the crossroads guitarist/writer and another fretboard monster from the same movie is Ry Cooder who has some spankin blues tunes. Yeah...I have a whole bunch or Ry Cooder's stuff on cd too..but he really isn't recording in themes...if you know what I mean. His albums are all over the place for type, mood and style. And...where's Tony Iommi when you want to see new stuff? Almost all his stuff is in museums and on the 2-for-99-cents rack at your hardware store nowadays. Right now watching Jeff Beck and Jennifer Batten rock out! She stays right with him! Good on her! Nothin' like seeing two really good wimmen shred goddesses sweatin' and grinnin'. |

Its hard to find music here from guitarist without having to put your house up to cover import costs. CDs are still at a crappy high price here. |
