| 715243 | 2008-10-29 08:49:00 | The easiest way is to copy your present profile then install firefox on the new pc and copy your old profile to where ever you want. Then edit the profiles.ini file. IsRelative should equal zero and the path should point to the copy of the old profile like the example below. This way everything is exactly as it was before. For some reason the FEBE, Firefox Environment Backup Extension, didn't do the trick, However I transferred the bookmarks OK with "Foxmarks" and the passwords with password exporter. I can live without transferring the cookies, which will re-establish themselves in time. Many thanks for the advice. Ken |
