| 1431070 | 2017-01-25 17:50:00 | Get off the grass, good on him to invest here and become a legal Kiwi. The Greenies and other lefties are going to have a field day - absolute b*****ds! | Bryan (147) | ||

I dont blame him for the stupidly of the Government, but as Winston Peters has pointed out many times, we are becoming Tenants in our own Country. Read THIS (www.theguardian.com) even Russell Crowe cant get Australian Citizenship. |

So what's the difference? :) Residency and Citizenship are two entirely different things Wal. Citizenship in NZ brings with it free Health Care, a Pension etc, all subsidised by the other taxpayers. I'm sure Mr Thiel has considered the benefits of Citizenship and acted accordingly. ;) |

Good to see we learnt nothing from the Kim.Com saga, and the one before that www.nzherald.co.nz throw some money in the general area of politicians and doors magically open I guess . Why the secrecy with this latest one ? |

Cant blame them for that, but do we have to take him back otherwise ? :) perhaps he never actually applied www.stuff.co.nz "The only trouble is, the Immigration Department has no record of the New Zealand-born actor ever applying to officially become an Australian. I'm sure Mr Thiel has considered the benefits of Citizenship and acted accordingly. ;) I feel quite confident Mr Thiel will have his own private health cover. Given his net worth, I also strongly doubt our pension would be a contributing factor into his desire to become a citizen. If you have a quick read, you'll find that he donated 1m to the Canterbury earthquake recovery, among other things - www.stuff.co.nz I think it's time to take your medicine and relax a little B.M. - let people like Peter Thiel continue to be successful and contribute to the community in peace, without nutjobs like you having a go at them :) |
