1430678 2017-01-13 20:22:00 The Herald, in its best women's mag style breathlessly confers royal status on Richie and Gemma with main headliners and even sub headlines in today's Herald.

In the best traditions of the gutter press, if you don't have a story, you make one up, or if you don't have a pic, photo shop what you have ...

If you do have a pic, in this case only mildly complementary to the "story", you watermark "NZ Herald" over it so as to make it unusable to other thieving tabloids ...

7811

And again, in best dog-in-the-manger style, the Herald ain't not goin to let any other publication steal its "scoop" ...

This post is not to target the couple, only the ridiculous coverage from our so called leading newspaper. They deserve better than this from our press.

I've never met Richie and Gemma, and I wish them the very best.

1430679 2017-01-13 22:30:00 Have to agree, its mostly click bait, lets glorify something, and add in a few tweaks to go with it.

re the pictures -- Easy enough to remove watermarks if another really wanted to use a certain picture, but it would require a bit of work so it would need to be a good Picture.

Quick example, your 2nd pic, red Circle and Herald watermark goneburgers :) Took a minute or two to remove.

1430681 2017-01-14 01:54:00 I successfully ignored all mention of them while reading various bits of news from both the Herald and Stuff. It's quite easy, you just don't click on the headline.

Stuff is worse, all those womans mag **** articles, What We Will Be Wearing This Year, What We Will Be Eating and so on.

All blather.
Meanwhile there was a bit of news to read................

Seddon had yet another earthquake. Seddon seems awfully popular for them lately....
Rather interesting new theory on the dino extinction too.
