1431198 2017-01-30 01:00:00 The constant bashing of him is actually starting to make me back him more than ever.
The media and Clinton supporters have done far worse damage than he's managed so far

Yes, its not very democratic what all the media and clinton supporters and "celebrities" have been doing.
He won, they lost - get over it.
Its a democracy.
They will have another chance in 4 years.

The news media should just report on the news , not be so one sided.

Its a Federal Republic. Due to how it is set up, the President is not selected by popular vote. If they were, you'd have President Clinton.

FTFY ;)

Not saying it's a bad system of government by the way. It just isn't the same as a Westminster democracy, as the President is not selected by popular vote.

I see you don't agree with the right to protest :)

In case you weren't aware, it's an important part of a Western Democracy.

Of course, the wretched righties will always crush dissent, it'll be brown shirts and a knock on the door at 3am next.

1431203 2017-01-31 19:08:00 I feel great
A breath of fresh air for the whole world.

I feel like many New Zealanders did when we got rid of Labour and Helen Clark's oppressive Nanny state.
A big weight of pc (ha ha that's a pun) crap lifted off our backs.

The only policy of his I don't like is a possible move to halt abortions.

The other thing is that he may struggle to get some of his policies actually implemented.
Eg Calexit (wow) , Judges on immigration etc.

My sentiments exactly - especially the reference to Clark.
Just wish he'd get off Twitter coz he's making a dick of himself with that.

1431206 2017-02-01 00:03:00 Clinton, Trump
Left, right
democrat/republican
Either way would not make much actual difference to the Average US worker

a country so far in debt its teetering on a cliff edge , printing money instead of earning from exports
Average family just 2 paychecks away from being homeless
trying to prop up industries that cant compete with international labor rates
trying to prop up industries that will just go fully automated & not need local labor

1431207 2017-02-01 00:16:00 I dont like Trump but I like his immigration policy. I would add all non European and non English speaking countries to the list except Turkey to the list and deport those already in NZ.

just wondering, why the exception for Turkey ?

Perhaps the best way , for any country, is only immigrants with similar beliefs and religion .
It would be great if we all could just get along, but in the real world it often doesnt happen . If the migrants have no respect for those who dont follow their beliefs , then its a problem waiting to surface .
