Watering the lawn and garden with a watering can and using the washing machine soapy water from mid January seems to settle their hash . they pop up for some break dancing and the birds deal to them . Don't over-water or the worms will be up too . I assume if you have been washing teenagers' socks, you could wipe out many and varied life forms, at the risk of making your lawns non-negotiable for vehicular traffic of any kind except pressurised aircraft with non-corroding structures, and submarines . The crickets would be the lesser evil here . ;) |
