| 1432492 | 2017-03-05 04:44:00 | An effect which I don't think has always been present before. When exiting Google (via Chrome) the page or site, most recently visited seems to have embedded itself in the system when closing. Then whenever I open Chrome again, to use Google, up pops the previously accessed web site instead of the window with Google access. To then find Google, I must open another window to get the Google access page. I know that this is not as important as many but it seems odd that a two step process is now required to find Google. Wee bit puzzled but thanks in advance for any ideas. BTW Win 10 |

Its not W10 or Chrome, I run both and the problem doesn't exist. ( Google is the home page) Also in chrome make sure in the settings its set to open the home page 7911 |

If you are using other features of the google home page of course that's a different story. Most browsers have functioned this way for quite a long time, all you need to do is configure the default search engine if it's using the wrong one for your preference. Never understood why so many people install search toolbars after this became standard. |
