1432367 2017-03-01 23:54:00 Have no luck with VLC converter. It's OK to convert just a single file from mp4 to mp3 , but if I were to select say, 20 files at one time, it just won't work.

Has anyone here done it before?

Kind to share your successful experience?

Cheers.

1432368 2017-03-02 06:49:00 I just tried, could only get it to convert one file at a time, even though you can add several files to be converted. I don't think you can do more as it requires you to enter the destination file name and path, unless there is a clever trick I haven't spotted yet that enables a batch of file names to be entered. 1432369 2017-03-02 09:42:00 Doesn't seem like something many people would want to do in bulk so maybe they never bothered to add that feature properly.
Most things you can convert from MP4 you can easily get as MP3 by other means.

I have a good collection of MP4 music files and would like to convert them so that I could play them on my phone and my phone is sync to my car's player.

I ever used this online converter (http://online-audio-converter.com/) to convert quite a while ago but when I tried it again yesterday, it won't work, couldn't complete the converting.

Can Android phone play MP4 files?

1432374 2017-03-03 00:01:00 I use https://www.dbpoweramp.com/ but it's paid software and I'm not sure about MP4 so I didn't suggest it, seems you're sorted anyway. Android likely can play MP4, much like a PC you just need to install the right player or codec. However I thought MP4 was primarily a video format, not familiar with it as an Audio only one. dugimodo (138)
1432375 2017-03-03 20:08:00 I've been using Winamp 5.5 to convert MP4 files to MP3 & M4A files, it allows batch conversions and does a very good job, not to mention it is also FREE! chiefnz (545)
1432376 2017-03-04 08:20:00 chiefnz, how do you do it? I tried but just couldn't figure out how. I am using WinAmp for playing my music files. bk T (215)
