| 1431884 | 2017-02-14 03:39:00 | When I go to save a file either the Documents folder or the Downloads folder opens and the computer freezes. It has to be rest to reboot. Now if I try to save a PDF file it automatically opens the Downloads folder and freezes. Help please. | Krad (7878) | ||
| 1431885 | 2017-02-14 04:00:00 | You may have some system corruption. Assuming this is W10 ( wasn't mentioned what you have) Open a CMD / Run as administrator, type in sfc /scannow <press enter> see if it finds any corruptions, even if it doesn't then reboot and try again. If it finds corruptions but cant fix them, then you'll need a W10 DVD or USB drive with W10 on it to repair the system. Instructions to follow on how if required. :) |

| 1431886 | 2017-02-15 20:15:00 | I did the scan and it did not find any integrity issues. I upgraded to Win 10 from Win 7 so don't have a copy of Win 10. | Krad (7878) | ||
| 1431887 | 2017-02-15 20:44:00 | I did the scan and it did not find any integrity issues. I upgraded to Win 10 from Win 7 so don't have a copy of Win 10. Download it from MS (google for the download link) It could also be a failing hard drive. 1st thing to do is make sure you backup all your data, then go fault finding . Just in case. |
