716072 2008-10-30 20:10:00 Hi all,

Client wants to buy a copy of Vista 64 bit (as they have 4gb of RAM) but also want to have a 32 bit environment they can use if a program won't run properly under 64 bit Vista.

Can they legally have both Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit dual booting on the one Vista license?

It not programs, you have to worry about, its the drivers

716074 2008-10-30 20:21:00 it doesnt appear to be possible .on a vista forum a senior member says that in order to have the 64-bit version you must revoke the 32-bit key GameJunkie (72)
716075 2008-10-30 20:38:00 As Long as you have two separate drives, or one drive partitioned into two you should be able to put it on both and dual boot - more than likely you will need a separate license for each version of the OS's 32 & 64 Bit. wainuitech (129)
