I have windows 2000 on the old PC and wanna play m4a files. How do I go about doing it for wmp9? I prefer not to install more software cos the system is slow enof.

You 'll have to either install Itunes / Quicktime (which won't work with 2000 anyway). Or something like Winamp

Or a codec, like this (www.free-codecs.com)

715982 2008-10-30 08:38:00 Itunes for Win 2000 (www.apple.com) - Winamp may be better though.

Edited: VLC player (www.videolan.org) will also play M4a.

7.3.2 is probably the last version that supported it
