495154 2006-10-30 06:16:00 Is PressF1 back to normal? It looks like it :)

Part from it looks like there is a few bad threads :(

Also for those who where wondering what happened to PressF1 I e-mail James( one of the admin) & this is what he said about the PressF1 server:

Yes, it was playing up badly . So badly in fact, I had to rebuild the application and db on a new server . Something I was intending to do anyway, but the constant disk errors on the old server brought it to the forefront of my task list (in the middle of saturday) . And yes the styles were broken but that was all to do with new hardware, new os, new software (db and application) - new everything basically .

Still it's working now, and on a brand new, very powerful, redundancy packed webserver .

Things with F1 should settle now, other than the occasional VBulletin upgrade .

Sorry for the inconvenience, but a sudden and uncompromising death was impending and I had to move fast to avoid a rebuild that would have taken 10 x as long .

495156 2006-10-30 15:13:00 I also notice that the time/date stamps on the posts I made after Misty's concerning the Fires In San Jacinto are at the top of the post in #1 position . . . that's not right! I never mentioned the double and triple posts that happened either . . did I do THAT?!?

Anyway . . . I hope it all works out well . . . as this appears to be the first really big screw-up of this site in all the time I've been here and posting . I sense a lot of scrambling and repairs are being made by persons with true IT capacities . . . right on!

Thanks, NZ F1'ers for putting up a good site . . . and for putting up with me!

It's nice to have associates across the world in Upsidedown Land . Pray for lots of gravity .
