| 715676 | 2008-10-29 17:53:00 | this may help also www.weethet.nl I use the hp boot utility for usb drives, although it say for hp usb drives it works on most makes of thumb drives google it then google autorun.inf that should tell you how to construct a autorun file you do know that autorun.inf does not work in a cmd line environment(booting from usb drive) you need autoexec.bat file to do that, you enter the commands into autoexec.bat as you would the command line |

Try to keep things nice - resorting to personal insults is unecessary and childish behavior that just reflects badly on the person posting them. |

| 715681 | 2008-10-30 10:40:00 | Well actually I do know. I've made the USB flash drive I've got bootable. It was a lot easier than what Aporosa is trying to do. Whatever he was trying to do The prob was (or is), I couldnt figure out WHAT he wanted to do. I didnt know, (or couldnt figure out), if he was trying to make this flash drive boot into DOS. Or make it bootable, so it will boot into windows, if this is what he's trying to do. And as I said, I have no idea what these images are, (since I've never used Ghost, probably never will) Or whether these images will work in DOS or Windows. Before it'll restore his system |
