| 715534 | 2008-11-02 21:21:00 | Well. :D Finally bit the bullet, backed up bookmarks and reinstalled FF, deleting all data etc in the process. It's much better, still seems to use a lot of CPU while loading pages, but on the whole much better. |

| 715535 | 2008-12-08 07:01:00 | Java Quick Starter 1.0 I just had a sudden problem with Firefox CPU usage pegged at 90+% (every time I had several tabs open), and it turned out to be caused by this extension. It started happening right after Java installed an update to Java 6u11, so on a hunch I disabled Java Quick Starter and restarted FF -- and bingo, problem solved. Worth a shot. - Peter |
