495533 2006-10-31 09:24:00 My understanding is that you can only pick ONE best mate at a time and you have to change to Supa Prepay which means your calling landlines and other Vodafones is going increase from 49c to 89c .

Also you need to top up at least every 3 months so that rather large credit you may have got from their double top up promo is at risk .

I would be willing to swap if they at least allowed you to choose more than one mate .

I feel they giveth with one hand and taketh with the other .

Totally . . . . I agree . . . $0 . 89 negates all the plus points it gained with the 2 Add-Ons . . . Oh, but I'll probably look into "Dual sim card holders" . . . That way, my original number on supa prepay, but with another sim card too, so that I can still use motormouth for $0 . 49/min . . .

Anyone with more info on Dual sim card holders? Are they easy to use, works well, etc?

Oh yea . . . final point . It's not 3 months expiry . The 3 months only apply when you first switch to Supa Prepay, after the first topup of at least $20, it's a yearly expiry limit . It's on their terms and conditions . . .

495534 2006-10-31 09:35:00 Just to ease confusion, here is what I see:

Prepay balance must be topped up at least once every 90 days or all Prepay balance will expire.
Customer's connection remains active for 365 days from the last Prepay balance top up.
So my understanding is that you have to top up every 90 days to keep your balance, but if you don't, then you will lose your account balance, but not the phone number.

You might well be correct! So apologies if I confused anyone, I couldn't get through to 777, but I guess if you're planning to switch, better make sure!

Don't worry about it, you will be billed eventually, they can take a few days to catch up.

495539 2006-11-20 00:30:00 I got a great little device! It has a FXO & FXS and a GSM. I put my best mate SIM into it and when my home phone rings, it also rings on my mobile for free :)
I can also put the call on hold and transfer it back out the FXS.
Free home phone divert to my mobile.

495541 2006-11-20 23:48:00 I heard from my father that there is a thing *** dunno the name

You have 2 or more sim cards

They use a laser and cut the frame of the sim card leaving just the chip on the sim cards you have

Then they somehow stick them together or use a device.

When you boot your mobile up you can pick which mobile you want to use

There are other things like buying a larger sim card.
Copying the information of your sim card to a brand new sim card with alot more data and running that special sim card you bought although not many people use these kind of stuff these days overseas

The Calling Plans are around the same price. You get unlimited data if you pay $30 a month on your mobile

The mobile can hold alot more data than it can 5 years ago
