| 715922 | 2008-10-30 05:19:00 | Hello wise friends! Once again I need your advice! :-) I got a Toshiba P305-S8832 (Vista Home Premium, 3GB DDR2, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz) and this machine has two SATA bays!. It comes with a Toshiba 250GB 5400 SATA3 HDD. Now, I have two WD HDD 5400 SATA3 one of 160GB and other of 320GB. Since the three HDD are 5400 rpm and SATA3, I am thinking in setting the WD160GB as C with only system and software, the Toshiba 250GB as only data storage and the WD320GB as external backup. Now I would like to have your advice and feedback on this configuration. I am looking for reliability while keeping performance. |

| 715924 | 2008-10-30 13:35:00 | Yes gary67, I will do a clean installation on the 160GB and then use the 250GB just for data moving the whole USERS folder's content to it. The 320GB will go as external for backup. | emmerc (12836) | ||
