| 717041 | 2008-11-03 22:53:00 | I need to do some testing of this tonight but as a prelim. If I see a windows boot screen (it boots fine as far as I can tell) then a black screen with just a white cursor. Am I dealing with a graphics problem? |

| 717042 | 2008-11-03 23:06:00 | can you type commands and have the console respond? If so, its not a graphics error, its probably a windows loading error | utopian201 (6245) | ||

| 717044 | 2008-11-03 23:13:00 | Could be corrupt video drivers. Will it boot into safe mode?? If it does, uninstall the video drivers (if it'll let you). Then reboot. Then reinstall a later version of the video drivers Were any hotfixes / windows updates installed, before this happened? It looks like MS Onecare can do this, if it finds an infection, and tells you to reboot Or this is system is infected with something Put the hdd in a working system as a slave, and scan it |
