| 716473 | 2008-11-01 21:08:00 | Why is it with windows the fastest download speed I've ever got is 280Kbs. I've just downloaded with linux & got 675Kbs. Where in xp is the unlock key. Can't find it on google. I've had the same with Vista, but given up with that as it's crap. To my way of thinking, unless you can't get the windows program you really "need" to run with wine, there's no reason to use windows at all. | Phil B (648) | ||

At school we have SLOW internet on our laptops. Download speeds of about 40kps on average. Using DownThemAll I get a download speeds of around 120kps to 200kps at school. At home I get 200kps download speeds normally and 370kps downloads speeds from using DownThemAll Best Download Manager. Ever.:thumbs: |
