716752 2008-11-02 23:37:00 I see Xnet's usage monitor was 2 1/2 - 3 days behind last month.

It didnt catch up, before it got to 1/11/08

Now, I see (even tho it showed 1/11 the other day, when it got to 1/11/08)

It has now gone back to 29/10/08 (by the looks of it, they'll probably charge Xnet users from 28 - 29/10), to the end of Nov 08

If they do, can they do that?

Since, its not our prob, if their usage monitor is slow. And since it reset on 1/11, it should stay in Nov, not go back to the end of October?

It'll probably be 3-4 days behind at the end of November now

716753 2008-11-03 01:21:00 Yeah, I'm having the same problem, thought it might have been a problem with my PC, glad to see it's not just me.
It's showing 29/10/2008 at the moment in the usage monitor.

716754 2008-11-03 01:24:00 Yup, it'll be because it was 2-3 days behind...

Looks like they've decided to take it back to October, to get the rest of the data you used from October.

And they'll probably charge you from 28/29 Oct, till the end of November, when they send you the bill in November

Just got a reply from Xnet

You'll get billed for whatever you've actually used, not what the usage monitor is displaying at the time -- it has probably caught up now.

Hmmm

I had this happen frequently on Orcon.

I took screenshots etc and sent then to orcon one time when I accidently went over thte 20GB cap.

They refunded me the $10 for going over the cap (was only over by about 300MB).

716756 2008-11-03 02:17:00 Mmm, seems to have gone back to normal, strange. Nate08 (13770)
716757 2008-11-03 02:26:00 Yup looks like its changed to the following below 00:00:00 (todays date)

Ok just got another reply by email

I have just spoken to someone in charge of the usage monitor, you will be charged for whatever data you have used, the usage monitor is merely a guide to help you monitor your usage, not a bill.

The invoices have not been generated yet but I would say they will be billed from the 1st to the 1st. What you see on the usage monitor now
(last update 03/11/2008 00:00:00) will be accurate for November.
