First go to here (ntfsundelete.com) and click the first link to download the installer, then run it, tick the drive where it was (and after waiting for it to find lost files) tick the folder where the file was, navigating down the folder hierarchy. This program recovered my entire My Documents folder after I accidentally Shift+Deleted it..... :rolleyes: |

Depending on the size of the file and the amount of space on the Hard Drive and where the file was, by installing programs / downloading ISO files on the PC, you run the risk of over writing the very file you are trying to recover. You should install the recovery software on another PC, then slave the drive with the deleted file to this PC and run the recovery like that. |
