| 496762 | 2006-11-06 05:14:00 | Dammit, this looks bad. Forgot to mention this b4, any one know if old users are able to stay on the old plans? Or do all users have to switch? | CCF (6760) | ||

Yep there new plans suck! Yes users are able to stay on there old plans, which is what i will be doing. Just if you are a gamer you will have the choice to have interleave turned ON or OFF on the new plans. But no choice if you stay on the old, it will remain on. |

| 496764 | 2006-11-06 07:02:00 | I'll be sticking with my current plan too - if I changed to fullspeed/128k, I probably wouldn't be able to get any faster speed than I currently get on my 2mb plan because they don't have enough bandwidth to go round. I wish telecom would scrap the ISP change fee so that we could vote with our wallets. |

| 496765 | 2006-11-06 07:03:00 | I plugged it in. Max/128k is $38.95 for unlimited usage. That's not bad. Max up/down for 15GB is $77.95 I think, for 10GB is $70.31. What is interesting is if its Max up/down for unlimited its only $54.95 ~. What? Edit. I don't think there is unlimited with Xnet. It appears that if its managed its slowed to 32k speeds (up and down). You buy the GBs you need and that's it. If its unlimited (what Xnet calls it), they will simply just bill you for every MB or GB you use. |

| 496767 | 2006-11-06 07:37:00 | Seems to me its what most of the ISPs are doing now. FS charge plus whatever data charge. And going back to charging rather then slowing you., Pity as how many people in total in NZ can actually get full speed? I'd love to know....10%? 20% 50%? |

I hope they didn't take my word when I suggested this  But you can stick with your current plans which is good. Also telecom has given all ISP's 4GB with 50c/GB extra for FS/FS. |
