| 499145 | 2006-11-15 20:52:00 | There was an article mentioning it in the Herald today, but Apple is very secretive about these sorts of things, so unless some one in the music industry wants a new enemy, I would question how much the reporter really knows (I'm not saying it won't happen, just that I'm skeptical at this stage). I seem to remember a similar rumor around this time last year. Based on my experience with iTunes Australia, I think it would very, very popular here. It's so easy to buy music that have make sure you don't get too carried away. :p |

I would guess the server would be hosted in the USA as its cheaper & they already have servers there & I guess they have all there itunes stuff over there . where is itunes australia's servers located? However, for the most part download speeds to the US are similar to local speeds and it is far more economical to have your servers located outside of New Zealand (there is little technical benefit to have local servers for music distribution, video on demand would be different). | maccrazy (6741) | ||
