| 719093 | 2008-11-09 22:40:00 | I am looking to get a free view box as moved to a new house with sky dish but no arial. There seem to be some on Trade me for about 50 bucks but in the shops they $200 plus. Do these cheap ones work and what is the difference, I only have an crappy old telly. (Sorry, not strictly a PC problem!) Cheers Jacquie | Jacquie (9851) | ||
| 719094 | 2008-11-09 22:46:00 | Either will work. The $200 one is going to be a lot nicer. I have spoken to several installers and Topfield seem to be the recommended brand. You want to make sure you get a satellite (DVB-S) not a terrestrial (DVB-T) decoder. Zinwell are OK too. I'd tend to ask here (www.geekzone.co.nz), theyll have a bit more knowledge then here. :) |

| 719096 | 2008-11-10 03:59:00 | how does this get through? Easy- if it a actual person signing up they simply answer the question and away they go - already reported. | wainuitech (129) | ||
