718786 2008-11-09 09:30:00 Front Page is very useful but if you use front page code you will be restricted to host servers who have Front Page support & charge more. Much better to stick to HTML and Tables.

Problems with screen fit can be caused by Front Page expressing width in pixels instead of % of the screen. Also beware of using fonts which are not standard Windows or Linux Fonts.

That is not correct, many webhosts do support frontpage extensions both cheap and high quality ones. However many are phasing it out, as microsoft no longer support it or provide secruity patches for frontpage extenstions. However you can still FTP a frontpage website to a non frontpage supported host, instead of 'publishing' it via the frontpage extensions.

718787 2008-11-09 09:36:00 Heya,
I'm making a website in frontpage, and I've got it all completed but i've realised I might have jumped the gun when previewing the website on a different computer when my computer was dead and saw that the website is left aligned and not centered that adjusts with the browser size...
It seems that my Background Image is too long but even if I adjusted that to 750px length it still left aligned, is there any way for me to centre the website and have borders around the outside for those with HUGE monitors....

Website is not live so cant show you what I mean...but this is 2 examples of what I mean...

Website is similar to this....in terms of layout...everything on the left..
www.murraydownie.com

I want my website to be like this one...Centred etc
www.pagebreeze.com

I have learnt 1 thing tonight that If i want to centre website I cannot use absolute Posistioning in frontpage, so how am I able to put images wherever I want, similar to using absolute?? as relative doesnt work for me...

Am using Frontpage 2003 in Windows Vista.

I think frontpage uses tables for layout. With that pagebreeze website it also uses tables, and uses this code to create the centred site <table cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3" width="780" align="center" bgcolor="#004000"
border="0">
