| 718504 | 2008-11-07 21:21:00 | Hmm I guess it is just Vista being busy. | music_man (5482) | ||
| 718505 | 2008-11-08 02:29:00 | Hmm I guess it is just Vista being busy. Black Viper really does have some very good info. It's not natural fro an HDD to be thrashing, mind, IMO Vista ain't entirely natural either. |

| 718506 | 2008-11-08 02:31:00 | In my experience, Windows Vista takes several days to "settle down" while it goes through indexing things, and so on. | somebody (208) | ||
| 718507 | 2008-11-17 06:02:00 | I have a similar problem. I've had Vista running for about 3 weeks. A few days ago the hard drive began a constant cycle of pulsing for about half a second every 1.5 seconds. It starts shortly after the Vista desktop comes up and never stops. Has anyone else experienced this or have any advice? I've tried disabling the Superfetch and Indexing services and defrag is not set to run. |
