500280 2006-11-18 10:19:00 Am paying for golarge, but they have put me on the pro plan (same price) until they resolve the speed issues. I voted pro in the poll. Erayd (23)
500281 2006-11-18 21:14:00 We are on Xtra Go 1GB. Have been for the last 3 years. Before that it was Dial Up, since Xtra started. Have had no problems with them. Help Desk have been helpful at all times, being polite helps a lot, they are people just like us after all.

You often hear people slagging off help desks. Could the slagger do a better job? Has the slagger ever had to deal with peoples questions in any way? I the slagger had then they would soon get fed up with answering the same dumb questions every day.
Rant over, & I feel much better now. PJ

500287 2006-11-19 09:26:00 On Adventure according to the usage meter (but capped at 2MBit for some unknown reason). Unless you change to the new plans, you are supposed to stay on your old plan aren't you? Does this mean you are still supposed to be on 3.5MBit or the theoretical maximum of up to 8MBit (or 7.6MBit or whatever they are using)? maccrazy (6741)

Yes, that’s correct for the Adventure plan.

You should get 7.6MBit with your old 128K upload and your old 10GB cap.

Hope this helps :)

With standard packets, the upstream gets flooded with acks @ ~4.2Mbit/s. So you won't generally pull speeds much faster than that on FS/128
