| 499596 | 2006-11-16 10:17:00 | People struggle to live in houses if you live within close promxity the city anywhere in London or Paris or anywhere in EU. NZ's availability of housing is quite a luxury and not easy to find overseas. But on the other hand NZ is underpopulated and slow pace of life :D I enjoy the cramped tube system, go shopping after dinner, a bit of excitement. After 6pm or after 4 in w'end its like half the city is dead. | Nomad (952) | ||

| 499600 | 2006-11-16 22:12:00 | NZ - You don't have to be wealthy to enjoy life, beautiful beaches, clean air, houses are cheap, everyone has a car, electronics stuff are expensive and models are very limited if not outdated. HK - You have to be very very wealthy to enjoy life, houses with area over 300m2 are there if you have the cash to buy, not everyone has a car but you can see benz, bmw, lexus everywhere. Those people can spent NZ$250 just for lunch at some club house. Electronics stuff are cheap, heaps of models. You can't really compare the two. They are totally different. Just look at golf, in HK it would cost you over NZ$650,000 just to join a golf club membership and has to be invited. Most people who think HK is a cramped rat-hole, True for average earning people (most are), but for those wealthy people, they live a luxurious life that NZ can't give. |

I have the very same opinoin with you! They are total diffierent. Hk is one of the most important business centrol of China in Asia. It's high pace life in HK. You have work , work ,work to earn your life unless your dad is Li Ka- Shing. NZ, like SKT said , everyone can enjoy his life. PS. I see the prise from on-line web of NZ . Electronics stuff in NZ are really expensive . Are the prise close in the market? |

| 499605 | 2006-11-17 02:10:00 | Predictions are that prices will rise in China, they are being held artificially low because the Chinese currency exchange rate is being manipulated by your Government to stimulate growth in your country. In the long run this situation will not continue. Prices are always high here in NZ because of lack of competition, transport costs (does not really explain why software is expensive here) and rip-off businessmen. Our total population here is ~= 4,000,000. |
