719001 2008-11-09 08:24:00 Ive just installed win xp pro and i cannot get any sound i used the wizard to look up the net but it cant find anything either, i went to device manager and this is the description of the sound device i have it says audio device on hi definition audio bus with a big yellow question mark beside it where can i find a driver that will work for this. Windows update gives me nothing either. Hitech (9024)
719002 2008-11-09 08:26:00 First you'll have to find out what you're using (brand / model of mobo or computer system (ie: Dell / HP)

Then go to whatever site.

Download the LAN / sound / chipset drivers, (for whatever is on it),for the version of windows youre using (32 / 64 bit)

Then install them

Do you know what you're using?

719004 2008-11-09 09:00:00 Is that a Dell / HP system. It maybe an ASUS mobo. BUT, its not on their site

You're looking in the wrong place, if you have to pay for the drivers
