| 718874 | 2008-11-08 13:33:00 | Hi, My computer came up with and error warning,,i turned the computer off...restarted it and the following msg comes up...reboot and select boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press key_ I am completly lost now!!! I am running an asus A6000 xp Can anybody help me please?:confused: |

| 718875 | 2008-11-08 18:10:00 | Does that message show up before Window loads or right after POST? Though if you are given an option to select a boot device, just select your HDD that has windows installed then windows should load. |

| 718876 | 2008-11-08 18:14:00 | Yup sounds like it trying to boot from a floppy, or a cd with nothing on it Or maybe the card reader, if its got one, and there's nothing there Go into the BIOS and change the bootdisk to the hard drive Remove any floppies or cd's |
