Pity my clothes aren't expanding as fast as me. Actually....expansion offers another explanation too. You feel your clothes have shrunk.....the universe, and by extension YOU are expanding too. The universe is infinite, your clothes are not. Because of this expansion, you are moving further away from the center of Earth. Your gravitational attraction to the Earth is growing smaller as your size and height increase. You actually weigh less now as you become more bouyant. You are in extreme danger of floating off the Earth if you don't start eating more. |

| 500329 | 2006-11-19 19:59:00 | You neglect the increase in density. As a teenager, I knew everything. Now I don't, so I must be getting denser. Admittedly there is more history now, and general relativity means I have a lot more nieces and nephews than formerly. Also, the universe is running down; entropy is not what it used to be, although I'm not too sure about indecision. |
