| 501970 | 2006-11-25 05:41:00 | OK . . . the post I made about trribbles (ya gotta read 'em all to keep up here guys!), brought back some real emotional times when Star Trek Was new and Kirk/Shatner didn't need a walker to move about the bridge . . . . Anywah . . . I found the original episode of "Star Trek" about the tribbles . . . . Chekov was in this pretty much as a replacement for Sulu who at the time was doing some kung-fu movie and could not get to the set . . . . . . I think this is a classic . . IMNSHO!! Here's the link: . youtube . com/watch?v=CNQr2y3ydDA" target="_blank">www . youtube . com follow the links on the menu for the final piece . . NOTE: this is 00:10:14 long . . it will likely require no caps and dsl at least . . . unless you want to tie up your ISP for a couple of days . . PS: the quality of the vid is very very good! |

| 501979 | 2006-11-25 13:54:00 | Tribbles, like Dr McCoy said: "The nearest thing that I can figure out is that they're born pregnant . " Last line of the show: I gave them a very good home, sir . " "WHERE?!?" "I gave them to the Klingons, sir . " "You gave them to the Klingons?" "Aye, sir . Before they went into warp, I beamed the whole kit and kaboodle into their engine room . . . where they'll be no tribble at all . " <Scotty and Kirk, as Scotty explains the cleanup of the Tribbles> Favorite line in the hold of the Enterprize when Kirk is covered with the furrballs ( . ucs . indiana . edu/startrek/episode1 . cfm?sn=2&sr=1&ep=52" target="_blank">mirkwood . ucs . indiana . edu): "Who put the tribbles in the quadrotriticale? ( . 70disco . com/startrek/tribbles . htm" target="_blank">www . 70disco . com)" Name of Chapter with the tribbles: "Sherman's Planet" |
