501928	2006-11-25 02:25:00	20 more police flying to Tonga to relieve military WHY???????? It's none of our business. If the Tongans want to rid themselves of opressive rulers , let them. Why must we always sticking our noses in other countries affairs? Fiji,Tonga, Agghanistan, Soloman Islands and god knows where else. We haven't enough police to maintain law and order in this country. I was quietly hoping that a Tongan would wipe out our air force with one shot when it tried to land.	JJJJJ (528)

Tonga would have been nuked before lunchtime, airforce or no airforce . That's provided he remembered to make psychic connection with his email server . We get one honest politician and the mob can't cope. :) Well, being a woodworker and furniture maker, that should be no problem for you Cicero, but I'd be much more afraid of those secret sects who profess Christianity, and seem to have unlimited funds for political activities, and plan campaigns to reverse anti-nuclear policies. If only half of the recent Australian documentary about them is true, then they do indeed present an evil aspect. I will comment on the honesty judgement after I've read the book, but from what's been on TV, and extracts in the papers it looks bleak for him. Edit: this is going right off topic. The topic is about "interference in Pacific Island affairs". What I meant to say was I'd have thought most New Zealanders would have been somewhat aware of the "special relationships" and responsibilities that NZ has in the South Pacific, eg Niue, Tokelau, Western Samoa, Cook Islands. www.mfat.govt.nz But then, there is a glorious genetic inheritance from our Anglo Saxon forebears for adopting this sort of responsibilty, empire building, colonialism etc. Noel Coward summed it up well: "It's such a surprise for the Eastern eyes to see, that though the English are effete, they're quite impervious to heat, When the white man rides every native hides in glee, Because the simple creatures hope he will impale his solar topee on a tree.
