2006-11-24 05:02:00 | Nicky Haggars book is being discussed on national Radio right now and is said to show an unholy alliance between the Nats and the Exclusive Brethren. Well I am not inclined to go out and buy fiction. I won't need to buy the book anyway. Media people will go buy it and I will hear about what it alleges.

When he didn't make the cut, they found another inexperienced leader that could be controlled, but this time with a bit more charisma. The photo of John Key in the Southland Times this morning looked very evil |

2006-11-24 05:19:00 | Hi C. Re:It's all right S,we won't expect you to change and commit to someone What on earth makes you think that the rest of the world gives a **** what you expect? Pity - the autocorrect deleted the word that mattered here...... Don't get angry and out of control with facts. Take a deep breath and attempt a decision, you may surprise yourself.

2006-11-24 08:29:00 | dr brash is a good man.. he just using his business skills but like users say.. Politics is a different game.. u make a misstake they'll make a really big deal out of it. That sums him up pretty nicely. He is basically a good guy trying to make the country a better place. His only downfall was that he wasn't a very good politician. Could you really blame him though? It's not like he made a career out of it like Helen Clark and co did. He tried, and overall, despite a few slips of the tongue when put on the spot, managed to dramatically increase support for National. A pretty good effort really. :) | maccrazy (6741) | |

2006-11-25 02:40:00 | Everything in his book must be true, just as everything is true on the internet. The difference is that, being a book published in New Zealand, then affected parties can take libel action in a court of law if they have proof of untruth/slander etc. Winston can give us chapter and verse on this no doubt. Having seen John Campbell 'expose' of the "Bretheren" emails on TV, Brash has now lost all credibility in my eyes. Up until that moment I was well prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt, and believe that he hadn't actually read/seen emails sent to him. I've ordered the book, so it will make an interesting read.
