My problem then is that one location I often connect to (Xtra) has suddenly stopped working out of the blue. My email continues to work on other Xtra (and various other) ISP connections without problems. I can't work out why this one has stopped working all of a sudden, although there was a power cut recently and I wonder if this could have reset anything either with Xtra or the router. Internet and everything else is operating fine, just not sending emails...? Becuase they are an ISP, they may have far more security and may block connections they think are suspect on their SMTP server connection, than a web host who isn't an ISP and who provides SMTP. |
