| 501510 | 2006-11-23 18:12:00 | Killerbob - go to Trademe. Best place for computer prices. You can do a search for SOLD items which will be more revealing than 'asking' or 'reserve' prices. Of course, you may find a friend or relative who wants a PC, so you tell them, "Look, I bought my PC only 5 months ago for $1800 (or whatever)" and it still is on warranty and I can set it up for you, etc., and you can have it for only $950". If they trust you, then you would get a higher price than from Tradme or PF1ers who actually know how to find a bargain. |
