This is a good indicator for me - any thread heading in Bold or Caps containing the word HELP and far too many exclamation marks. Then I know, even before reading any further, that the poster is: (a) new here (b) either enthusiastic or showing off (c) either a breath of fresh air or self-opinionated.... ......and when criticised, will either: (a) vanish immeditely (b) become aggressive & get banned (c) adjust to forum protocol & turn into a useful & interesting member. It doesn't usually take many posts/threads to guess which ,,,. |

It doesn't usually take many posts/threads to guess which ,,, . same all over the internet . . . you can actually estimate the (mental) age of a person simply by the language/reasoning used an their ability to turns capslock off . . . if they swear/become abusive rather than backing themselves up, use txt spelling and only use upper case they are around 12 . . . . if the can spell reasonably well and will argue their case calmly and admit defeat they can be anywhere above 18:thumbs: NB i said mental age as there are 30yr/olds out there which make a 15y/old look good lol |

There used to be several computer fairs in Auckland(north shore, penrose, panmure) . I wasted several weekend MORNINGS to visin any one of above mentioned! Gonne with the wind . . . Is there any computer fair left to visit in this town???? Whoa, computer fairs? So how long exactly were you out of the scene for? :eek: Closest we get to those these days are the normal markets held every Saturday and Sundays and Garage sales . Theres also Trademe .
