| 719821 | 2008-11-12 19:06:00 | Befor anyone rips my head off I typed in the search bar "avg not updating" got zero results. Started about a week ago, fire up the computer and there is an angry red icon bottom right of screen. Go to control panel and manually update no problems. Please dont reply with a comment to change to another anti virus. I like it and will stick with it. Is anyone else having this prob? |

| 719822 | 2008-11-12 19:15:00 | I've seen this problem a few times, the resolution appears to be to uninstall and reinstall AVG. Seriously though, do youself a favour and change to Avast or NOD32. ;) |

| 719827 | 2008-11-12 23:18:00 | Hi prefect, AVG suits me also and has never failed me. Are you on dial up or broadband? Are you on or off line when the scheduled update time comes up? Does it try to update and fail or does it not even try? |

| 719829 | 2008-11-13 01:12:00 | I have the same problem on 2 PC's. The reason is explained on their forum. They say try again at another time. Hundreds of people are having this problem. They say they are updating (adding more) servers this week to fix it ! |
