719675 2008-11-12 01:52:00 Couple of questions regarding mini itx.

Anyone know if its possible to get an EEE Box with XP Pro rather then Home?

Which board do you guys reckon is better?

GIGABYTE GC230D (www.pbtech.co.nz) or Intel D945GCLF (www.playtech.co.nz)

Lastly anyone know of somewhere to get relatively cheap mini itx cases and PSU?

719684 2008-11-23 07:33:00 Think this link may help if you still are looking

www.mini-itx.com

It review's multiple mini-itx atom motherboards, including the two you are interested in and the newer D945GCLF2 which is a dual core version of the D945GCLF. Looking around most places its only about $40-50 more and is alot better.

Also on www.pp.co.nz there is a few good black mini-itx cases, roughly around $160-200 thou.
