| 719446 | 2008-11-11 05:56:00 | Hi All. Have a master set of data in a Workbook. Have created graphs from that data and them it to a seperate workbook. It is still hyperlinked and if I shut down the original workbook it affects the data in the copy. How do I remove the hyperlinking between these workbooks. Also how do I remove the links between sheets within the workbook. Hope this makes sense. Cheers Colin |

| 719450 | 2008-11-11 07:23:00 | Hi Colin, if your meaning you have data linked and you get a prompt to update the data each time you open the workbook then you can break this link by selecting Edit | Links then choosing the option break link. If it is actually hyperlinks then I believe code is the way to go. To run the code in the link suggested by Speedy do the following. 1) Select Tools | Macro | Visula Basic Editor 2) Select Insert Module 3) Paste the code in the right hand window (white space). I would suggest copying the code from the last thread in that post. 4) Select File | Close and Return to Microsoft Excel To run select Tools | Macro | Macros then select the macro and click the run button. hth, Graham |
