720411 2008-11-15 20:34:00 HI Guys

Got A Internet Connectivity Problem? I did recently as a previous post earlier this week will testify. Basically, my Friends computer wouldn't retain the DNS settings, (due to Virus and Crapware!!), and they would have to be keyed in manually after every reboot. Many ideas were tried, thanks to the guys who replied to my post. However, nothing worked.

Whilst researching the problem on the net, I discovered a neat little program called WINSOCK XP FIX. (www.snapfiles.com)

This program can often cure the problem of lost connections after the removal of Adware/Virus components or improper uninstall of firewall applications or other tools that modify the XP network and Winsock settings. It does back up the registry first but this function refused to work on my friend's computer.

Winsock XP Fix did the real business though and me Mate reckons his computer is now better than it has ever been. This program is now definitely a part of my tool kit.

Suggest you try it. What yah got to lose, Winsock XP Fix is Free.
